Alabama’s World’s Longest Yard Sale was open to the public starting Thursday, August 2nd. 690 miles of bargains, fab finds and otherwise crap lined US 127 which stems from Michigan to Alabama. Has anyone ever been to this? I’d be afraid I’d miss a deal and want keep going on! When do you stop?! (probably when you run out of dollar bills!) I think it’d be fun though to just hop in the car and have so many choices of good deals stretched on one open road.

I haven’t hit up any yard sales or even the thrift store this summer, but I’m sure that will change as JP starts school and I start projects to keep myself busy at home. We have an easy weekend this week, which is great because it seemed like we were always on the go for the past few months. The next two weekends out will be super busy with the 25th being JP’s last weekend of freedom for the next 18 months…I can’t believe it’s already August! School supplies are already being sold in the stores and summer items are being marked down! Wow, this summer has flown by.
